Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Toadstool Labs LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use Ramble (the "Service").
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name, and role (creator, player, or studio member).
- Profile details: channels and social accounts you add or confirm, a profile description, focus areas, languages, and when you started making content. For studios: legal business name, contact name, team members, and survey answers.
- Public information about your channels: when you add a channel we search public sources to find your other public accounts and draft a profile description, and we may record audience size. You choose which results to confirm, and you can edit the description.
- Activity: quests and events you view, apply to, or run; submissions, scores, and results; notifications; and product analytics about how the Service is used.
- Payments: Stripe collects bank, identity, and tax information to send payouts and take studio payments. We receive limited details such as account status and transaction references, not your full bank details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- to run the Service, match creators with studios, and process payouts and payments;
- to verify identities and channels, and to detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and fake engagement;
- to send sign-in links and important messages about your account and opportunities;
- to improve the Service, including tuning matches from studio feedback;
- to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations and enforce our Terms.
What studios and others see
Studios on Ramble can see a creator's name, description, channels, focus areas, languages, verification status, and audience size, plus whatever a creator submits to their quests and events. Studios never see what a creator earns. Creators never see the internal reasons studios give when they pass.
Service providers
We share information with providers who process it for us under contract: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (payments and payouts), Postmark (email), OpenAI (public-account search and description drafting), and RewindRewind (analytics and error tracking). We may also disclose information to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep account information while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile at any time. Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Write to legal@toadstool.tech and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and passwordless sign-in. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
International users
We process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We will post updates here and tell you about material changes.
